Brighton's Day

Brighton was baptized on Saturday October 11th. We sang "I am a Child of God". After we went out to eat.

My Last Day

Today is my last day here in France. It has been the most memorable trip ever. I am so thankful for my wonderful friend and her family. I am also thank full for my aunt Tiff who talked my parents into letting me go. Most of all though I am thank full for an amazing mom and dad who work so hard for me and my sisters. They have always been there for me and I just want to thank them. I have had so much fun here in France. It has been life changing. For the people who say that the french are meen well you are wrong. They are WAY nicer than us. They are so welcoming. For example at church there are some missionaries that always come and sit behind us to translate. Thank you for every thing!!

A Double Lucky Day!

Last night we went to a restaurant that is called Buffalo Grill. When we were leaving we saw a claw machine. Cierra has won claw machine 3 times before. We decided to try it. Cierra tried it and she won it was so funny. Then we decited to try again so that she coulod win me one. SHE WON AGAIN!!!! It was sooo cool every body was shocked! When we got home I pulled out two teeth! It was just a double lucky day!

VICTOR

When it is dinner time we usually go out to a resturant called "Pizza Pazza". Every time that we go we have the same waiter. He is so nice that Cierra and I have been saying that he is ours and fake fighting over him. He is very tall, has black hair, and is in his 20's!! Okay he is just our waiter but is Cierras and my hero!! One day Cierra and I went down arownd the courner to get some bagget from the backory. It was very crouded. When it was our turn we asked for two baggets. When we gave her the money she keps saying something over and over again. We had no idea what though because it was in French. Then we herd a voice say " You need ten more cents". We did not know where it was comming from. Then we saw VICTOR he said " Do you not have". We said no then he paid for it! That is the true uneddited story. He has become a very good friend who we can ask questions to. We love him!

We went to Disneyland yesterday. My favorite ride is Tower of Terror, can't you tell!!!

Dancing in the Rain

It is Sunday and it is my last one here! I am so sad but I am excited to see my family. Well just barely we got back from the most amazing walk ever. We live in a little town that is right in the middle of a HUGE forest. We just walked down to the castle Fountain Bleau. Then we went to the forest that is not to far away. It is just right across the street. The forests here are very weird. Instead of having a lot of cluttered trees every where they have every tree lined up just perfict. Well we were walking we saw a little playset so we went on it. Mr. and Mrs. Stice left and Cierra and I stayed. Then we made a friend who we found out latter is 24 and has a son who is 2. She spoke a little english. Then after a while we started to here some thunder off in the distance. We just ignored it and kept playing. Then it started to get louder and we started to talk about it. Then there was this HUGE one and Cierra and I both got up and started back home. Finaly we met up with her parents. Then there was a little rain. It started to get louder and it started to rain really hard. Then we were walking down a little back street when all of a sudden the rain felt like a big buckit of watter was being dumped on us. I was soked. I was in a short sleeved shirt while they were all in there big winter coats with unbrellas. I was haveing so much fun that I was smiling bigger than I have ever smiled! The rain by then had turned to hail. Once it slowed down again it would start right back up. I was danceing and singing with the most happiest face ever. It was so fun.

On the way home to France we stopped at the Switzerland temple. It was so amazing. We all wished that we were in our Sunday clothes so we could go in but we were not.

I was able to go to Switzerland and see the Alps. They are SO amazing!!

I HATE SLUGS!!!

A few days ago I went to the alpine slide. On the slide I told Mrs. Stice that it felt like there was a bug in my pants but we just forgot about it and laughed it off. Then later we left Cierras parents alone on the mountain and we walked home. On the way home there was a big slide. Of course we wanted to go on it. So we did. Cierra went first and nothing happened. Then it was my turn. I went and at the end of the slide my behind felt really wet so I went to Cierra and said that it felt wet so she looked and there was a big yellow smudge on my butt!!!! Then we looked at the slide and we saw a huge slug smeared on the slide. The slugs here are about two inches long and one inch fat!!!! It was so horrible.

Our France Home

The house that I am staying in is the most amazing house ever. It is very easy to make yourself feel at home. In Cierras and my room we have two skylights. We are going to climb out onto the roof before we go. It is very nice because we have a lot of room. In our living room we have two big windows that we can look out of and see a lot of things. For example we live about 20 yards away from a cathedral. Right across the street we have our own store where we get most of our food. If we walk down the street we live right next to a HUGE castle called Fountaine Bleu. The castle has 1,800 rooms in it! Every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday there is a market across the street. Tomarrow we are going to Disney Land.

Today is the 24th of May and I am leaving to France!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to say that this is the most scared that I have ever been and probably will ever be in my life. Everyone that I know is telling me that I am going to be just fine but I still am SO scared. Tomorrow is my little sisters birthday and we are having a family party but while they are partying the night away I will be on the plane. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Kinley.  I have five sisters and i am the second oldest.  I have traveled to many places.  Some of the places that I have traveled to are with my family but some of them I went alone.  I have been to Ecuador alone and in about five days I will be going to France!  I am so excited but also very scared.
